Announcement could go here

  • I’ll bring an open mind (and a camera or two) to document every dimension of your day just as it's revealed to me.

  • There’ll be no gratuitous, contrived creativity all over your photos – like a designer label that shouts so loud you can’t see the person behind it.

  • Instead, my creative calling card is quiet. Whatever your wedding looks like, your photos will be true, timeless, tasteful, and totally you.

  • This is a place where your wedding will shine – in all its beautiful unboxed glory.

So here’s my pledge:

…Because a wedding has more nuance than an ever-changing sunset.

There’s calm and chaos, elegance and eccentricity, love and laughter, silliness and solemnity, tradition and trends… It’s a magical melting pot of everything that makes you, well, you

Then there are moments that happen in bright light and others that unfold in darker settings. Not to mention Mother Nature’s endless combination of ideas.

So to pick one 'look' feels limiting. The mood, moments, feelings, backgrounds, and light of a wedding day continually change. And it’s all precious enough to preserve just as it is.

  • Wine. Because, despite being terrible, it disappears faster than a magician’s rabbit!
  • Iced doughnuts. Because who wants to lick icing from a lid?!
  • Wedding photography styles...

Turn Your Screen to the right

Elizabeth & Luke

“We wanted everything possible and were not disappointed at all.”

It’s OK to want to have your ten-tier wedding cake and eat it…

Because wedding photography isn’t about highlights. It’s about the complete story of your day, captured to a consistent quality. A handful of showstoppers won’t cut it. You need an album-full!

And that requires a natural narrative of the day to capture the moments, feelings, and atmosphere. A few beautifully authentic pics of you two here. A handful of classic family group photos there. Thoughtful decor and details everywhere. Slip in some stunning scenic shots. And, ahh – that hits the spot!

Hmm. If only you could find one photographer who does all those things, to an equally high standard, without detracting from your day.

*sticks hand in the air* Hi, hey, hello! I’ve spent two decades honing my soul-whispering, time-bending, cat-herding, and cake-eating skills - so you don’t have to sacrifice quality portraits or details for your dream of relaxed pictures.

Go slow. See the stories unfold. Savour each picture and page. Soak up the atmosphere. Get to know the characters. And then, as you grin back at these people you don’t even know, imagine how you’ll feel when it’s your story, your faves, and your love.

You're on the guest list!

True love stories

  • Bigger screen equals bigger feelings. It’s science (probably). So use the largest screen you can find. Hint: If it fits in one hand, it's too small.

  • These albums are a fraction of the full set (‘cos sharing full weddings here would break the internet for a week). A complete collection has more of everything (especially guests, flowers, and dogs!).

Pssst!

WE want to see

Sam & Pete got married in the Rutland countryside - alongside a pew-full of confetti and a hanging cake! They had their day at Exton Park with a church ceremony at St Peter & St Paul and a marquee reception by the lake. Captured by Sarah & Ian.

Let's see

Alice & Jamie planned a late spring wedding in the Cambridgeshire countryside with meadow-inspired flowers. They exchanged vows at St Andrew & St Mary in Grantchester and then walked to a family home for a relaxed garden marquee reception. Captured by Sarah and Georgi.

LET'S GO

Jacqueline and Rutger balanced understated elegance with a laid-back atmosphere for their civil ceremony and reception at Cain Manor - a secluded tudor manor house and barn on the borders of Hampshire and Surrey. Captured by Sarah & Georgi.

Take US there

Steph & Lee started in style with cake for breakfast and a ceremony at St Andrew's church in Brigstock, Northamptonshire. A traditional London bus transported everyone to Deene Park for an elegant but undone marquee reception by the lake. Captured by Sarah & Ian.

WE'RE in

Emily & Chris immersed themselves in nature at Courteenhall in Northamptonshire. After a traditional church ceremony at St Peter & St Paul's, they led everyone down the hill pied-piper style for relaxed drinks and a marquee party. Captured by Sarah & Georgi.

Rachel & James

“We didn’t want pictures that were so ‘edgy and arty’ that they belonged in a gallery rather than on a mantelpiece! But Sarah balanced what we wanted perfectly and our album is beautifully varied.”
