ALison & Terry
“We can’t begin to tell you how happy your photos make us feel.”
You need more than a talented photographer and a picture-perfect day to get photos you adore.
Because your pictures won’t just bring back memories of your vows, speeches, and dance moves. They’ll also bring back your memories behind the day - the highs, the challenges, and everything in between.
I know because I’ve been there. My wedding photos are beautiful, but bittersweet. They remind me of family tensions, the dress I didn’t have the courage to wear, Northamptonshire's most awkward first dance… The list goes on. Ultimately, we weren’t true to ourselves, and I see that in the pictures. I don’t want that for you.
If you don’t love your wedding - or yourself - you won’t love your photos.
Which is why I created my own unique and purposeful photography planning process to support you in getting photos that feel as incredible as they look. It’s a holistic approach - part practical guidance, part soulful support, and 100% love - that includes not just timelines, group lists, and family trees but also taps into who you are, how you feel, and how you want to spend your day.
And afterwards, you can look back at your photos and remember how amazing you felt, see how relaxed, wildly happy and in love you were, and savour so many special memories.
Claudia & Calum
“Wow - we absolutely love the photos! You really captured all the little moments and we barely noticed that you were there! Our expressions during the rogue vicar moment were amazing! And I think we can all agree who the most photogenic was….Buzz! We are coming back from our honeymoon this weekend so it’s been lovely to see these and to reminisce.”
Yes, you read that right. Weeks, not months.
This is insanely fast compared to the industry norm but that’s exactly what I’d want as a client. I remember being on the plane coming home from our honeymoon, post-wedding-blues setting in fast, and being sooo excited to see our photos. We got them shortly after but the wait was still excruciating and seeing our photos was the pick me up we needed as we went back to work.
So when you book your wedding with me, I don’t just put your wedding day in my diary. I block out the editing time too. And I’m fiercely protective over it! So I’ll give you an exact delivery date when I confirm your booking, and I guarantee you’ll receive your photos right when you expect them.
My answer:

This looks like:
I’m on a mission to make your photography the easiest and most enjoyable part of all your wedding planning!
Think of me as your wedding photo whisperer; here to help you establish strong roots for your wedding photos, so when the time comes, you can fully relax and enjoy yourselves - and I can capture the best of you and your day.
Support that suits you
After you book, I’ll check in to see if you’re more “minimal fuss” or “give us everything you’ve got!” And whatever you choose, you can expect thoughtfully written guides, advice, and inspiration handpicked for you and delivered regularly into your inbox from the moment you book.
Everything remembered for you
I’ve got processes and systems so smooth they’re practically ready to ice your cake. Which means you can sit back and enjoy the ride. You’ll always know what’s happening. And you’ll never have to chase me or rely on mind-reading.
Deep-dive planning session
Time to collaborate! We’ll sit down - face-to-face or virtually - and chat about what really matters to you: who you’ll celebrate with, the photos you’re most excited for, and your vision for how the day will unfold. This will help me capture what truly lights you up while leaving space for all those natural meaningful moments to unfold.
But this plan is a living, breathing thing. So if something changes, or you just feel differently on the day, we’ll roll with it. You do your thing, I’ll do mine, and together we’ll make sure your photos reflect your wishes, whatever that looks like in the moment.
An 'open door' policy
I’m here for you and happy to chat about anything - no matter how awkward. This is a positive, happy, come-as-you-are type of place where you can ask for what you want - without judgement. And if you don’t know what you want, I’ll be ready with opinion-free options to help you figure it out and then support you with whatever you decide.
Emily & Mark
“Sarah was a complete star in the run up to the wedding. When there are so many other stresses, we felt we could completely trust Sarah. Nothing was a problem and that was hugely appreciated.”
Zoe & tony
“The planning up to the day was second to none.”
Sam & Pete
“Sarah listens extremely well and understands and respects her couples needs.”
Rael & Tom
“You really put our minds at ease with the whole process.”
Michelle & Gavin
“It was hard planning a wedding from 8000 miles away but it was great to know the photos were something we didn’t need to worry about.”
Your wedding photos will remind you of your thoughts, feelings, and experience throughout your entire journey. So it’s not just the details of the day that need to be in harmony, it’s your head and heart too.
So here’s just some of the extra goodness you’ll get from me, if you’d like it:
It’s like a kids’ activity pack - but for grown ups getting married! Yes, it includes colouring, too!
But no pressure.
This is a place where you just take what you need.
the service you didn’t
know you needed!
Sally & Ben
“Sarah really cares about her clients and you never feel like you are just another job.”
Debbie & David

Psst! Doing this will add you to my emails. I think you’ll find them useful but if you ever want out you can quickly and easily unsubscribe with one click.
Pop your email in here to get my free ‘XXX’ guide. And even if you decide I’m not the photographer for you, this will prepare you with ideas to make your memories and photos happier.
The photos fit into your day, rather than the other way around. Which leaves you free to relax, be yourself, and make the most of every minute.
Here’s how I’ll help you stay in the moment:
My job isn’t to pull you away from your day … it’s to keep you immersed in it.
I get it. I sooo get it.
It didn’t even register at the time but when hubs and I look back at our wedding? We missed so much. And so did our photographer. Because we spent every spare moment posing for photos.
Micro moments over micromanagement:
I’ll arrive fully prepared (thanks to our planning session) with a clear understanding of your vision for your photos and your day. This allows me to work independently and capture everything you’d like while you have fun with your family and friends. And the only time I’ll (politely) interrupt you is the time we’ve pre-agreed for your group photos and portraits (but never when you’re deep in conversation with Granny).
Quiet energy:
My goal is for you and your guests to feel so comfortable that you don’t feel the need to change who you are or what you’re doing because I’m there. I’ll fit calmly and respectfully into your celebration and capture it just as happens. I won’t be an invisible ninja though and it’s a fun day, so fun will be had when it feels right - but I’ll always be discreet. Check out this post for more info about this.
Quality time instead of portraits:
Sarah Vivienne portraits are either classic, simple, and completed in seconds - or as relaxed and easy as me tagging along with my camera while you take time out for a walk.
Canapé-friendly group photos:
We’ll plan ahead to work out the where, the who, and the how of your group photos so they’re efficient and fun on the day. And we’ll find little pockets of time when you won’t miss your own drinks reception to take them.
Team spirit:
You can expect me to work closely and compassionately with your other wedding suppliers. Because that way the day not only runs smoothly and seamlessly, but has a fun team spirit to bring even more joy to your day.
Grace & Andrew
“Sarah was a quiet happy presence and other than when she took our couple and group shots we barely noticed she was there. Looking back on the photos though it seems like she was everywhere as she has captured so many beautiful moments!”
Anon
“4 years on … We have recently been to a friend’s wedding & the photographer was a COMPLETE nightmare. Very intrusive & bossy. The pictures took 4, yes 4 HOURS at the reception. Made the whole day run extremely late & was just awful. So thank you for leaving us with amazing pictures & wonderful memories of our day.”
Laura & Russell
“Having her just get on with it and being confident that she understood what we wanted was great.”
Joe & Isabella
“Sarah fitted in so naturally into the day’s proceedings and was fantastic at capturing all the key moments. She had such a calm and gentle demeanour which made us both feel comfortable when doing our couple shots, and she could equally take charge of the situation for the family and friends photos!”
Mijin & Dave
“I’ve seen a lot of wedding photographers grandstanding while doing their job, however Sarah’s style was very subtle, quietly and efficiently taking photos but still getting all the best moments throughout the day.”

“Our favourite part of the whole wedding photography experience was all of it! Everything was enjoyable and effortless.”
With authentic editing, a lightning-fast turnaround, and support to keep your photos safe, you’ll have everything you need to enjoy your memories in vivid detail - for years to come.
Here’s what happens after the confetti settles…
True-to-life editing:
Editing is a big part of the magic too - but it’s about correcting, not changing. Your photos will capture the natural beauty of your day, so there’s no need for filters. You’ll be able to relive everything just as you so thoughtfully planned (If you’re into it, there are some ‘before and after’ edits here.)
Unlimited digital images:
Yes, no cap. You get all the photos except the ones you wouldn’t thank me for. Duplicate groups, dreadful expressions, dud test shots - see ya!
Three-week delivery:
When you’re a Sarah Vivienne couple, waiting isn’t on your to-do list. You’ve put so much into your day and you shouldn’t have to wait for months to relive it. This is insanely fast by industry-standards - but I know you’ll be itching to see them. This isn’t a big promise; it’s a contract term you can count on.
Private online web gallery:
Your very own online exhibition awaits! The story of your day will be beautifully organised into easy-to-digest chapters. You can use it to view, download, and share your pictures. There’s even a shop where you can buy prints, framed photos, and thank you cards - all professionally produced by the same pro printing lab I use myself.
Ongoing support:
Your wedding might be over but I’m still here for you. Once you have your gallery, I’ll guide you as you download, backup, choose, and print your photos. Because despite what everyone else says, it isn’t just one day. In fact, good luck getting rid of me!
Keeping my energy and standards high while I understand what matters most to you, personalise my approach, be fully present and intentional on your day, take time and care over editing… it’s a lot. So to give you that level of service, I take on a maximum of 15 weddings a year.
Translation? If you’re keen, don’t hang around.

Bethany & Adam
“She made our wedding planning a joy and our magical day simply effortless.”
Jo & Tom
“If you want photos that are classic and elegant, full of love and with a personable approach then without a shadow of a doubt I would recommend Sarah. It may seem like a lot of money but it is truly the best money we have ever spent.”
Laura & Ian
“Definitely book Sarah – we’re convinced you couldn’t get better photos or a better service anywhere else.”
It’s hard to say without knowing more about your day. Numbers vary wildly and depend on things like how long I’m with you, how big my team is, how long your speeches last, the length of your group photo list, how many guests you have, what photos your ceremony officiant allows… If I look just at the weddings I’ve captured this year, the numbers range from around 300 to well over 900! But there’s one common theme: more isn’t more, less isn’t more, it just is what it is.
But what I can say is:
I’ll capture your day as thoroughly as I can
There’s no cap on the number of photos you’ll receive. And whilst you won’t receive every photo I take (because you won’t thank me for 20 duplicates of every group shot or unflattering mid-conversation expressions), my perfection bar is pretty low. I’m not interested in a photo being technically perfect - because a moment that happens in bad light can still be a lovely memory. So if it’s the only photo of that person or moment, you get it.
Whenever the time feels right. There are no rules or arbitrary dates here. But that said, whilst it’s never too early, it can be too late. *mega sad face* So it’s best not to dilly dally. As a rule of thumb, I’m generally booked up at least 12 months in advance.
Absolutely! This is a great way to make sure we’re a good match. To get started, please tell me some details about you and your wedding so I can check my availability first. If I’m free on your date, I’ll send you a link where you can see my schedule and book a call. It isn't a must-have though. Many couples just email or call with a few questions and book from there.
There’s a booking form to complete, a contract to sign, and the booking fee is £500. And once I’ve got those three things I’ll put your wedding in my diary and I’m all yours. It’s all done online. Easy peasy!
30 days before your wedding. And I’ll send an invoice a month before that so you don’t have to remember.
Yes! I can create a custom service for you - which starts at £900 for two hours - but this is only available Monday-Thursday or for last-minute bookings. For more info, please tell me a few details about your plans, and I’ll send you my brochure.
I’m right in the middle of the UK in Northamptonshire. I photograph many weddings close to home but I love a road trip (always fuelled by 80s tunes and liquorice allsorts) and will happily follow the love.
Yes - it’s a must-have. Stately homes and private estates often ask to see proof of public liability insurance so please just ask if you need a copy of my certificate to send to them.
I’ve gathered some of my most useful guides and blog posts just for you - for free.
