Pale blue and white wedding cakes on a white dressing table

If there’s a wedding venue that lends itself to any wedding colour scheme, Kelmarsh Hall must surely be it. And its flexibility is one of the reasons why I love it so much. You can take any style … and find a background to suit it beautifully. Like this Regency-inspired (any Bridgerton lovers out there?) pale blue editorial shoot.

Bridgerton Blues

Inspired by the growing trend for outdoor weddings (one of Covid’s finer moments!), this set-up looked right at home amongst the neutral whites and greens in the sunken garden. But I can imagine it looking just as good in the Saloon or Ballroom.

And isn’t pale blue the ultimate crowd-pleaser for a classically elegant wedding? Soft enough for flowers, striking enough for suits, and subtle enough for stationery.

I’ll let you look through the photos and see everything for yourself … but do look out for my two favourite features:

… The Charlotte Bronte quote in handwritten calligraphy on the bouquet ribbons, which added both a sentimental and playful touch. And the spectacular cake display … because why wouldn’t you put your cake on a dressing table in the middle of the rose garden? All so graceful but wonderfully individual.

Looking for more inspo for your wedding at Kelmarsh Hall? I’ve got you.

But here’s the thing:

You need more than an incredible photographer to get wedding photos you love (though that helps!). You also need a day that’s totally you - the kind that makes your heart happy and infuses your photos with nothing but happy memories. That’s why I offer a holistic, thoughtful service to help you set the tone for photos that are as meaningful as they are beautiful.

Sound like your cuppa? Pop the kettle on and explore my little corner of the internet.

I hope this post was exactly what you needed.

If you tumbled down the Google rabbit hole and are wondering who I am or how you ended up here, let me introduce myself...

I’m Sarah Vivienne, a relaxed wedding photographer based in Northamptonshire (but I happily roam the UK for a good love story). I work with big-hearted couples who are planning countryside celebrations - where connection, not perfection, is the star of the show.

With nearly 20 years’ experience under my camera strap, I know a wedding isn’t about the photos. It’s about a day where you’re so immersed in the moment you forget the camera’s even there. My job? To bottle up all the timeless natural magic, so you can relive it forever.

Oh hey! Thanks for stopping by.
